Babies/ infants

6 months - 4 years

Our baby swimming lessons offer a fun and relaxing environment for you to make magical memories that you can cherish forever. We use songs, games and fun activities to teach important water safety skills, and provide you with opportunities for parent-baby bonding. Our classes aim towards building infants confidence, and teaching them skills that may just save their life in an emergency aquatic situation. The water allows for babies and infants to acquire a new independence & freedom in the pool that they can be sometimes be limited by on land when they are mobility dependent.

Children can join our infant swimming program from approx 6 months and up to 3 years. A parent or caregiver must accompany the child in the water for these 30 minute classes. Once children turn 3, they are eligible to go into our learn to swim program.

All babies must be wearing a reusable swim nappy such as the Little Togs “Happy Nappy” to be able to enter our pool. For all students under the age of 3 you will be provided one of these Happy Nappies in your welcome pack when you sign up to a Term of lessons. Unfortunately if babies are not wearing a swim nappy we will not be able to let them into our pool.
